Just
how do you put together a weekly or monthly gardening magazine? Chris has
worked and edited on both and explains the fun in developing a magazine from
scratch as well as the stories behind the headlines and deadlines. The talk
includes plant profiles, Q&A, plus editing a gardening website as well as
the celebrities that shape our gardening ethos today.

Explore
the whole bulb of bulbs as far as planting, displaying, associating and growing

Everything
you need to know about growing foliage and flowering houseplants successfully,
plus a look at orchid growing and how house plants can improve your health! Props driven talk.
‘Growing Under Cover’ (January-May)
Whether
you are growing plants this season under cloches, cold frame, polytunnel,
greenhouse or conservatory, timely advice will be on offer. Chris will be
looking at specific plants for protected cropping, the logistics of growing
crops and ornamentals under glass and plastic and some of the pitfalls of this
type of cultivation.
